Her name is Rose

Audrey's baby arrived here with no name, so after I finished painting her, and joining all the doll parts... I thought she looked very rosy to me, so what better name than Rose?
She is such a cute little baby, a very sweet face and I wish I could do more stuff, hair, clothes... add more things! but then no one would have room to play...

She is all ready to go on her next stop, at Sherry's. Have fun little Rose!

Audrey's baby girl is on her way home

Audrey's baby came to me with so many gifts and so many clothes. I didnt know what to do...She whispered in my ear that she loved the little tutus that I had made for some of the other babys........so I made her a pink and green tutu and hair decor to match....My daughter Amanda loves to make the little jewelry to match. Doesn't she just look pretty? I found one of Ida Hall's diaper bags to send home with her. I also gave her a little rocking horse, a little pink poodle and a little fairy doll. She is going home a spoiled little girl........I have had so much fun working on all of these little dolls.....I am sorry that it is over.......hope we can do it again soon.

Home again home again..........jiggidy jog

My little piggy arrived home today with all of her goodies..and lots of tales to tell. Audreys little girl was still here so they were able to have a tea party and share stories about where they had been and all that they had done..........Thanks to everyone who worked on my little piggy.......She turned out so cute, and I love all of her surprizes........

This Little Piggy Went to Market!

My daughter Kelly and I brain stormed ideas of things to make for Miss Piggy and we came up with the idea of "This Little Piggy went to Market" and all the neat things we could make for her to buy.  This is a picture of me (in the middle) and my two daughters.  The one on the left is Jewel...Tiffany's mother and the one on the right is Kelly.

Then I asked my granddaughter Tiffany if she would like to come over and help make them.  She said she would love to help.  But...we had a hard time coordinating our schedules so we could find the time to work together.....but ....finally we got the perfect day.....today.

Finally this sweet little Piggy and I got time to sit down and talk about what she wanted to do before she went home to Sue.  She was so patient with me to wait on me without complaining at all.  I found out she knew exactly what she needed  to get done.  I just followed her plans and we had lots of fun.

First of all she remined me of this little poem:
This Little Piggy went to Market
This Little Piggy stayed Home
This Little Piggy ate Roast Beef
This Little Piggy ate none
And this Little Piggy went wee, wee, wee
All the way Home.
So that is exactly what we did.
First she made a Grocery List and here is what she wanted.
A Reuasable Piggly Wiggle
SuperMarket Bag
Cotton Candy
Fancy Candy pieces
A Jug of Milk
Some Good Fruit....Apple, Orange, Banana
An All Day Sucker
A Roast Beef Sub
and a Wrapped Present to take home for Sue.

Then she got on her Sunday and Go to Market Dress with matching Bonnet and took her reusable Market Bag and headed for Town.

Then Tiffany and I sat down and made the items on her Piggly Wiggle Market List.

Here's Tiffany working on the Roast Beef....she made it a Roast Beef Sub...such a good idea and it is just darling!

Here is a close up of the Sub...........Kelly and I were thinking of a Roast Beef Sandwich...How much cuter Tiffany's Sub idea is!  Look at the toothpick with the darling green olive!

I made a bread bag wrapper for the Roast Beef Sub.

I made the stick with multicolored Cotton Candy...my favorite kind of Cotton Candy.

I also made the Bag of Fancy Candy Pieces....don't they make you hungry just looking at them?
I'm sad to say I made the Milk....it looks kind of rough...my white paint was too thick, and the black marker didn't want to mark on the paint,  and I wanted to finish these items today.  Sometimes I get a little lazy.  The milk is one of the Kiddie Jugs of milk from McDonald's.
Now I'm happy to say the fruit....Apple, Banana, and Orange look yummy...Thanks to Tiffany.
Tiffany also made the All Day Sucker and I put the cute wrap and ribbon on it.
Here is the Wrapped present for Sue...it seems to be a special kind of Tea.  I wrapped it so I know.
Here are all the items from the Grocery List with ....
the reusable Market Bag....made by me.

                           Front of the bag.
                             Back of the bag.

And here's a very happy Little Piggy all ready to go home to Idaho.

What a Doll She Is, That Little Piggy!

Martha's Baby Boy visits Washington

Martha's Baby Boy arrived here in Vancouver Washington all ready to go on some adventures! He saw the sock monkey that I had and asked if we could find one for him. He thought that it would be so much fun to take it with him as he traveled around the Willamette Valley.
So I made him a little "Sock Monkey", and a matching backpack. Since the weather was so nice we decided to head to the coast to do some whale watching. They migrate twice a year along the coastline. We weren't sure if we would see any, but he wanted to try anyway.
He packed everything he thought he would need into his backpack...some snacks, and "Max" his monkey. He made sure Max could see where they were going.

So off he went to see what he could find.
As he was walking along the beach, he came upon a turtle that seems to be resting. Baby boy asked him what he was doing. The turtle said his name was "Topper", and he was watching for whales. Topper asked Baby Boy if he would like to sit with him in the nice warm sand.

So Baby Boy sat down, shared some snacks, and talked the day away. They realized that there must not be any whales coming so Baby Boy asked the turtle if he would like to come home with him.
Topper thought that sounded like a lot of fun so he followed Baby Boy back to my house. Baby Boy had to walk slowly so it took them a while.
Baby Boy and Topper had a great time together! They went to OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry) and saw the dinosaur display, and many other sights. They didn't see any whales, but Baby Boy asked to take a shark home. So we found him one.
They looked at Baby Boys Baby Book, and made some notes of their adventures.
Topper loved using the "I Spy" bag as they traveled. Baby Boy was so polite, and enjoyed every place we went. I've loved having Martha's Baby Boy here, and will miss him when he goes. It's journeys end for all of the OOAK babies, and they are headed home to tell of all their adventures!
Safe travels home little one!

Miss Froggy is on her hop home

I really enjoyed this tour with all of the babies and creatures that visited me, it is sad seeing the last ones return home to their creators. For Miss Froggy she told me she always loved the purses like Vera Bradly so I made her a small one that is similar in design, it is big enough to hold her tiny toy froggy that I made for her,or the doll that she played with here so I sent it home with her. She is on her way home as of today so watch for her Carolyn.
I got Miss Rat yesterday and was loving sharing all of her goodies with her, thanks ladies for the fun trip

Miss Rat goes back home

Little Miss Rat was up from her nap, she wanted some milk and a toy.
We went outside to the yard for a pick nick and gave her a bib so she would not mess up her tutu.
Look at the pictures, she had fun!

Oh, yummy milk...

Now it's time to go back home and tell barb all the things she saw, and the places she visited in her tour.
Thanks for visiting, little friend, we will miss you!!!
